Privacy, in plain English

Last updated 2 August 2026

SlipCheck exists to find money you're owed. That requires reading your pay documents, so here is exactly what we do with them. No legalese padding, no surprises.

What we collect

What we use it for

One thing: building your pay report. Your documents are read, checked against the published NHS pay rules and HMRC guidance, and turned into your report and claim letters. Your email is used to send you that report and updates about your own check. We do not add you to marketing lists.

How documents are processed

Documents are read using Anthropic's Claude API under its commercial terms, which do not permit training on your data. Results are stored on our own systems. Access is limited to the people running your check.

How long we keep it

Your documents are deleted once you're repaid, or whenever you ask, whichever comes first. Email hello@slipcheck.co.uk with "delete" and it happens, no questions asked.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We never sell data, never share it with employers or third parties, and never pass your details to advisers or partners without you asking us to. Claims are filed by you, in your name, so your information goes only where you send it.

Your rights

UK GDPR gives you the right to a copy of your data, correction, and deletion. Email hello@slipcheck.co.uk for any of these. We respond within a few days, not statutory maximums.

Who we are

SlipCheck is an independent service made in England by an NHS family. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS or any NHS body. Questions: hello@slipcheck.co.uk.
