Our story

Seven years of wrong payslips.

My wife is an NHS doctor. For seven years her pay was quietly wrong. Wrong pay point. Weekends paid at the wrong rate. Course fees that never came back.

In seven years, nobody ever tapped her on the shoulder and said: we owe you money.

We found it the way most families do. A payslip that didn't feel right. One evening with a calculator. Seven years deep.

It's not just us

So why has nobody fixed it?

Because every tool points the wrong way. Trust systems face the trust. Union checkers stop at a template email. Refund agents took 30 to 40% until HMRC stepped in. And the tools that remain ask you to rebuild your rota cell by cell and retype every number.

Checking your pay ends up harder than the shift that earned it. So everyone lets it go. That's not carelessness. It's exhaustion.

So we built the thing our family needed

SlipCheck reads the emails you already have and checks every line against the official pay rules. No forms. No grids. Never a percentage of your money.

The first fifty NHS households get the full check free. Ours was the first.
